Welcome to our CCB Training Course.

This course introduces you to our Church Community Builder site (also known as CCB). CCB is our Church Member Management System (also called the Database) that helps us administrate our congregations more effectively.

Have a look at CCB’s resource site to see some of the features CCB has to offer.

Log into your CCB profile here.

In this course, we refer to CCB Knowledge Center in each section. Use the Knowledge Center as a start. Here you will get the latest update on the software. In addition to the Knowledge Center, we have also added notes. Use these notes to see how we use the different aspects of CCB in our offices.

Our training course covers all the different parts of CCB, and you will get more out of CCB by knowing how all the different parts fit into each other. But to give you a bit more direction as to what to focus on for your particular role, see recommended sessions below:

Recommended sessions for Pastoral Staff:
Session 1 – More details about what you can see on a person’s profile and the general layout of the CCB site.
Session 13 – The different types of reports you can pull to see where your church members are at.
Session 15 – The LEAD. App puts all your member’s data in the palm of your hand.

Recommended sessions for Administrative Staff:
Session 1 – Learn more about People’s profiles and the general system.
Sessions 2, 3, 4 and 10 combined will show you how to make groups to manage your people, create event registration forms, add the events to calendars, take attendance and update people’s profiles after they attended the events.
Look at Sessions 5, 6 and 11 for more ideas on how to keep track of who completed what Encounter and invite them to the next one.

Recommended sessions for Children’s Church Pastors and Administrators:
Session 1 – More details about what you can see on a person’s profile and the general layout of the CCB site.
Session 7 – Set up your children’s church groups, and add the children to their groups and families. Add your events and start tracking children’s church attendance.
Session 12 – for more information about scheduling and managing your volunteers weekly.
Session 14 – Learn how to set up a Sunday check-in station at your children’s church. Children can check in and out, print name labels with pick-up tags, and track attendance in one easy setup.
