The story of the Church | Acts and the ministry of Paul
In this module, we will follow the life and writings of the Apostle Paul. Paul is relevant to us because, of all the apostles, he had the best insight into the universal scope of Christ’s mission. This is ironic because, by his admission, his early focus was on the plight of the Jewish people. More so, in the early chapters of the book of Acts, we meet Paul as the persecutor of the Church! However, Paul became the apostle to the Gentiles. Because of the ministry of Paul, the Church grew among non-Jewish people. He sowed the seeds for the global reach of Christianity.
