This project cares for the needs of the extremely impoverished scholars, helping them to stay motivated towards their educational goals and future.

 

 

This project cares for the needs of extremely impoverished scholars, helping them to stay motivated towards their educational goals and future.

Although school fees have been abolished since 2007, many families in poor communities still cannot afford basic required materials such as books, uniforms and stationery. Through a sponsorship programme, individual donors can provide financial support for a child or a number of children to supply their educational needs for a chosen period of time. The funds and distribution thereof are managed by the Prochorus office, ensuring application for the intended purposes.

Annual Sponsorship for one child:

High School Children: R1,500

Primary School Children: R1,000

Part sponsorship towards children’s school uniform requirements is also most welcome.

What do we need?

  • Sponsorship for High School and Primary School Children.

 

Aftercare Child Support

  • Since this programme caters for a child on a daily basis, from Monday to Friday, it is more costly and requires R 245/child/month or R 2940/year.

 

Cycling Whole Life Coaching Child Support

This project goes deep into the whole life development of the child and makes use of daily interactions as well as weekend activities and camps to facilitate learning and make progress towards life goals. Due to this interactive and integrated approach, this programme runs at the cost of R560/child/month or R6720/child/year.
