Description

A fiery red dragon, a seven-headed beast, angels with trumpets, and an army armed with harps.

These scenes from John’s Revelation fill us with awe, but often leave us puzzled. Why did John write this letter? What message does it hold for us today?

This fresh reading through John’s letter to the seven churches in Asia Minor will stir your faith and fill you with hope.

Each chapter unpacks the prophecy from the perspective of the first readers and then brings it home to our own context.

I found this to be a very encouraging devotional on a topic that so often stirs fear in hearts. Refreshing!
What’s more: it’s simple to read – conversational

What an encouraging read through one of the more challenging books of the Bible. Ross takes you on the journey the disillusioned disciples of the first century faced and how Revelation really strengthened them, gave hope and joy to persevere, as I also experienced through this devotional book.

Faithful to the End is well-written and easy to read.

This book engages your heart to switch on the nightlight and keep reading! The conversational style, enriched with significantly helpful illustrations, walks the reader through difficult historical and theological concepts with accuracy and ease. The author then translates that content in a way that brings personal and collective meaning for today.

A true treasure to the believer seeking encouragement, comfort and hope.

Faithful to the End demystifies the often misunderstood book of Revelation, guiding readers beyond the typical narrative of doom and destruction and into the culmination of the Gospel story. Van Niekerk brilliantly unpacks Revelation’s rich symbolism, offering a compelling vision of a reigning King and His emerging Kingdom. Alongside this vision is a powerful invitation to courage and hope for the present, where Christ’s triumph is already at work.

This concise and insightful book is a must-read for anyone seeking to move beyond fear and toward bold partnership with King Jesus.
